What we are doing

We have made good progress with new build and have a number of sites across the city at various stages of development, providing bungalow accommodation for older people.

We are developing sites at Leazes Throckley, where 81 homes for rent and for sale are nearly ready for occupation; and at Blakelaw where there will be a mix of 98 affordable homes for rent and for sale on the site of the former deck access flats. 

We are also developing a site in Jubilee Road, Gosforth with accommodation specially designed for young families.  We are in the early stages of developing a site at Walkergate for people with learning disabilities and a mixed development site in Shieldfield catering for people with learning disabilities, family homes for rent and low cost ownership.
