From contact we have with you when you present at HAC, from The Tyne and Wear Homes Application Form and from contact YPS Homeless Prevention Service have with you during a period of support

In order to support you to prevent you becoming homeless or to support you to apply for a tenancy.

For 10 years after the end of a period of support

We can use this data in this way so that we comply with the law and other regulations that affect us (prevention of homelessness duty)


When we receive a referral/during a period of support (YPS North Kenton Supported Accomodation/Floating Support/ Stepping Stones

How we collect it

1) From the Tyne & Wear Homes application form.

2) From equalities monitoring form.

Why we process it

1) To create your tenancy, rent account, and other associated records;
To record other people associated with your tenancy, such as your spouse or partner, children, other dependents;
To record details of your financial status so we can identify if you are entitled to access any benefits.
