Building work is now underway on a major new development in West Denton, which will feature brand new homes for private sale and rent, as well as the construction of shared living accommodation for people with learning disabilities or autism.
Housing and community regeneration specialist, Keepmoat, is working in partnership with Newcastle City Council and Leazes Homes to deliver the multi-purpose site at Dunblane Crescent on derelict land, which previously housed council flats.
Work starts on new homes in West Denton
Keepmoat will build 95 two, three and four bedroom apartments, houses and bungalows, of which 77 will be for sale. The other 18 homes will be available for affordable rent to people over 55 years of age. Additionally the development will include three five bedroom apartments with communal facilities for people with learning disabilities or autism.

Work on Dunblane Crescent is expected to progress over the next three years.
